Management Policies

The Science and Technology Park of Cantabria (PCTCAN) is an industrial policy tool of the Government of Cantabria aimed at promoting the development and socio-economic welfare of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria.

At PCTCAN, we serve as a benchmark for economic and business interaction and innovation in the Autonomous Community of Cantabria, providing a space where innovative companies based on science, technology and knowledge development are created and brought together.
In order to create a high-quality environment and effectively fulfill the organization's expectations, The PCTCAN Management Company set up a system of management policies in constant progress and evolution.
The Management policies of the PCTCAN Management Company ensures the activity carried out by the Management Company is ethical and sustainable, implementing valuable suggestions both for its employees and third parties related to it, and the way to carry them out.

Criminal Risks

In order to establish a real disposition for the compliance within the organization and with the law, the Penal Code in particular (hereinafter "PC"), as well as the guidelines set forth in the Circular 1/2016 of the State Prosecutor's Office regarding the criminal liability of legal entities in accordance with the PC reform carried out by Ley Orgánica 1/2015, the Management Company of the Science and Technology Park of Cantabria has adopted and put into work, prior to the commission of any offense, organizational and management models that include suitable surveillance and control measures to prevent offenses of the same nature or significantly reduce the risk of their commission.

The management model has three fundamental pillars:
Prevention: to enforce the necessary mechanisms to prevent or decrease the possibility of committing an offense or violating the code of ethics within the organization.
Detection: the means put in place to detect the commission of an offense or violation of the Code of Ethics.
Detection: the means put in place to detect the commission of an offense or violation of the Code of Ethics.
