In 2011, PCTCAN implemented an Occupational Health and Safety Management System based on the OHSAS 18001:2011 specification, now considered the best standard in the field and currently holding the ISO 45001:2018.
That means an improvement in the management of occupational health and safety by the PCTCAN Management Company, including occupational health and safety in the general duties of the company. It also allows for better integration with other management systems, such as the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, with which it shares a same high-level requirements structure.
ISO 45001:2018 relies more on the context of the organization and the risk management that may exist in PCTCAN, reinforcing the top management role in the OHSMS leadership as a key part in their business strategy as well as integrating occupational health and safety in the general duties of The Management Company.
